KRISTIN DOLAN
Celebrated Santa Clarita Valley volleyball star Kristin Dolan is one of LAVA North’s most popular, celebrated coaches and a homegrown product of the excellent Santa Clarita volleyball community. She has been the Director of LAVA North for multiple successful seasons.
An award-winning graduate of Hart High School, where she was lauded as a highly accomplished student-athlete, Kristin went on to star for Nabil Mardini at Pierce College, guiding that team as captain all the way to the State Finals in her second season. Following her playing career, she transitioned seamlessly into coaching and earned her stripes as a club coach and as an immensely successful Head Girl’s Varsity Coach for Notre Dame Sherman Oaks High School. Kristin is now the current Varsity Girls Head Coach for Valencia High School, a powerhouse Santa Clarita program.
Kristin also has a lengthy club resumѐ across the various age divisions with multiple medals won and bids earned. She brings infectious energy to her role as Director of LAVA North, in charge of day-to-day dealings for the North along with the education, oversight, and development of North players and coaches.

RICK PHILLIPS
FULL NAME: Rick Phillips
HOMETOWN: Santa Clarita
BEFORE LAVA/SMBC: Teacher at Valencia High school 2004-present (Currently Co-department chair, teaching AP Environmental science and Marine Studies. Taught at Highland high school 2000-2003
COACHING BACKGROUND: Coached at Canyon high School Boys and Girls programs, Highland High School Boys and girls programs, COC assistant, Club coach at Synergy
PLAYING EXPERIENCE: Played at Canyon High school 1987-1990, Played at Pierce 1992-1993 (State Champions '92)
FUN FACT: Played volleyball for an episode of Beverly Hills 90210

ANDI SINCLAIR
FULL NAME: Andi Sinclair
HOMETOWN: Santa Clarita
BEFORE LAVA/SMBC: I was finishing up my second Masters degree in Social Work.
COACHING BACKGROUND: I have been coaching for 7 years. I coached in Fortworth Texas at a local club team called Fort Worth fire and for a local high school team. When moving back to California, I knew I didn't want to stop coaching and found a local high school team in need of a coach as well as coming to coach for LAVA and SMBC.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE: I have been playing volleyball since I was 13 years old. I began back in 2009 with SMBC (before it was LAVA). I played club and at Canyon High school until I graduated in 2012.
FUN FACT: I will show up to anything as long as food is there. Also easily distracted by dogs.
GUILTY PLEASURE: Telling everyone I'm busy, when in reality I'm at home cuddling my dogs
