Pre-Tryout Clinics (PTC's) are opportunities for athletes interested in playing for Lava West during the upcoming club season to refine their techniques, showcase their skills, meet coaches, and get a sense of what Lava West is all about in advance of Club Tryouts, which open each year in late July for the 15's-18's age divisions (9th-12th graders) and in late September for the 11's-14's age divisions (4th-8th graders).

The Lite Program is our popular youth training program for elementary school athletes, mixing skills development with fun competitive games and helping young people build a love of and passion for the sport of volleyball! The program is seasonal and runs year-round with Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter sessions.

The Juniors Program is our traditional non-travel training and development program for middle school athletes, mixing technical skills development with fun competitive games. Juniors athletes are looking to build their skills to prepare transition over to club volleyball or to make their middle school volleyball team, or out of simple love of volleyball, or most often all three! The program is seasonal and runs year-round with Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter sessions.
