Club Volleyball Tryouts for 4th-8th grade athletes (10's-14's age divisions) open on September 30, 2023. Please see below for further details on age groups, time slots, etc:

The official dates for Club Tryouts are set by the regional governing body for club volleyball in Southern California, also known as the SCVA (Southern California Volleyball Association).

Pre-Tryout Clinics are opportunities for athletes interested in playing for Lava West during the upcoming club season to refine their techniques, showcase their skills, meet coaches, and get a sense of what Lava West is all about in advance of Club Tryouts, which open on July 22, 2023 (for the 15's-18's age divisions, 9th-12th graders) and on Sept 30, 2023 (for the 11's-14's age divisions, 4th-8th graders).
