The Summer Program at Lava Oaks consists of all offerings in June, July, and August that are not part of the club volleyball season. Our summer program includes stand-alone clinics, workshops, multi-day camps, and our seasonal youth and juniors programs.

LAVA Oaks utilizes multiple locations around Newbury Park: the Dos Vientos Community Center, located at 4801 Borchard Road, Newbury Park; Sycamore Canyon Middle School, located at 4601 Via Rio, Newbury Park; and the Newbury Park First Christians Church, located at 801 Knollwood Dr, Newbury Park.

We have offerings for elementary school athletes (3rd-5th graders), middle school athletes (6th-8th graders), and high school athletes (9th-12th graders). We have something for everyone!

We have offerings for beginners, intermediates, and advanced athletes.

Most of the offerings are structured for beginners and intermediates, but there is ample opportunity for advanced athletes, as well.

We strongly encourage advanced athletes, or athletes who are unsure of what level of program they should register for, to contact our Director. The Lite Program is our popular youth training program for elementary school athletes, mixing skills development with fun competitive games and helping young people build a love of and passion for the sport of volleyball! The program is seasonal and runs year-round with Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter sessions.

The Juniors Program is our traditional non-travel training and development program for middle school athletes, mixing technical skills development with fun competitive games. Juniors athletes are looking to build their skills to prepare transition over to club volleyball or to make their middle school volleyball team, or out of simple love of volleyball, or most often all three! The program is seasonal and runs year-round with Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter sessions.
